R-Pattz will be interviewed on Good Morning America next week

Robert Pattinson is set to give his first TV interview since Kristen Stewart confessed to cheating on him with married director Rupert Sanders.

The actor, 26, will appear live on US programme Good Morning America to promote his new movie Cosmopolis next Wednesday.

‘This is the interview that everyone wanted!’ says a show insider.

‘We know he has to talk about the film but there’s no way we can’t ask him about the split.

‘It’s up to him how he handles it, but he’s not stupid. He’ll have it planned.’

The news comes as it’s reported that Kristen, 22, became attracted to Rupert, 41, when he helped to conquer her fear of horses on the set of Snow White And The Huntsman.

She’d developed a phobia of the animals following a nasty riding accident as a youngster.

Rupert wanted Kristen in a dramatic scene in Snow White And The Huntsman with hundreds of soldiers galloping at breakneck speeds,’ an insider tells the Daily Star.

‘He spent hours coaching her, giving her confidence and encouragement. It was a bond that became a love affair.’
