The Saturdays singer falls ill

Rochelle Humes was very concerned about her six-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai catching norovirus from her yesterday.

The Saturdays singer, 24, asked her Twitter fans if babies could catch the bug after she fell ill and, when she was told they could, husband Marvin‘s parents took over parenting duties.

‘This isn’t nice, I’ve never felt so bad! She’s not showing any signs, she seems fine. It’s just hard not to have contact with her x,’ Tweeted Rochelle.

‘I’m gonna try and sleep it off! Mumma and Dadda Humes have saved the day. Night all x.’

Norovirus – often known as the winter vomiting bug – is highly contagious and causes sickness and diarrhoea for around two days.

Despite making sufferers feel very unpleasant, it’s not generally dangerous and is the most common stomach bug in the country.

Marvin, 28, and his JLS band mates performed on The X Factor last night and Rochelle was gutted she was too unwell to see them live – but thought they were brilliant on TV.

‘Deffo shed a little tear, that was emosh. Great performance boys, xxxx @JLSOfficial,’ Tweeted Rochelle.
