The actress is thanked by police
Sheridan Smith proved herself to be a bit of a hero this week.
The actress, 33, told her Twitter followers on Wednesday that she’d saved a stray bull while driving away from her parents’ house in Epsworth, Lincolnshire.
‘Did my bit for nature today, there was a Bullock (not Sandra;)) on the loose so I pulled my car across the road to stop traffic hitting it…,’ Tweeted Sheridan.
‘..rang police & the farmer & after a long chase the lovely beast was finally home & dry.Ahhh🐃 village life eh?! Bullocks to this everyday😜.’
Isle Of Axholme police were clearly very grateful to Sheridan – who used to date James Corden – as they later thanked her for her efforts on Twitter.
Two of their officers even posed for a photo with the blonde star.
‘@Sheridansmith1 thanks for your help I dont think he was happy being caught though #7577/7574/0912,’ Tweeted the force, alongside a snap of the creature being transported.
‘@Sheridansmith1 It was a nice opportunity to meet you though good luck with the new project #7577Stew #7574Sue.’
