Giant ad featuring the supermodel falls on the public

Emergency services attended a freak accident involving a 15ft Kate Moss billboard on London’s Oxford Street yesterday.

Four shoppers – three women and a man – were taken to hospital and others suffered minor injuries when the wooden advertisement collapsed.

‘Three fire engines, four fire rescue units and around 40 firefighters are at the scene,’ a London Fire Brigade spokesman told Mail Online.

‘The police and London Ambulance Service are also at the scene.

‘It is not thought at this stage that anyone is trapped but around four people are thought to have been injured.’

The street was closed off to traffic as eight policeman struggled to hold up the board surrounding high street fashion store Mango, for which 38-year-old Kate models.

‘Loads of ambulances, fire engines and police vans on Oxford Street! Not a riot-turns out it was a Kate Moss billboard,’ Tweeted one passer-by along with a photo of the incident.
