The singer only has serious relationships because of her fame

Tulisa Contostavlos isn’t interested in playing the field these days.

The X Factor judge says she only gets involved with men she can see a future with because relationships involve ‘a lot of pressure’ for both herself and her love interest.

‘Fortunately, and unfortunately at the same time, I don’t really have dates,’ says Tulisa, 24.

‘If I get into something with someone, I’ve got to be pretty clear from the start that this is serious, otherwise it’s just not worth it.

‘It’s a lot of pressure on them and me. If I weren’t famous, I could just have a date.’

Tulisa – who’s currently loved-up with footballer Danny Simpson – will see either James Arthur, Jahmene Douglas or Christopher Maloney win The X Factor final next weekend.

She admits that she’s become much better friends with fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger this series than she did with Kelly Rowland last year.

‘I really got on with Kelly in the beginning,’ Tulisa tells Metro.

‘We tried to get along but then realised we were too feisty. We just weren’t getting along.’
