The footballer not comfortable about his mother-in-law moving in
He’s not at all happy about mum-in-law Karen Clancy moving in with him and Abbey Clancy.
‘Ash always said that having his mother-in-law move in when he was married to Cheryl was the beginning of the end for their relationship,’ says Now’s source.
‘Peter doesn’t want that to happen to him and Abbey.’
Peter, 30, and Abbey, 25, got married in June with a lavish ceremony at Leicestershire’s Stapleford Park Hotel and are parents to baby Sophia.
Our source says: ‘Karen‘s only there during the week, but Peter‘s very often away playing footy at the weekends, so he feels that they don’t get much private family time, just the three of them.
‘Pete loves being a dad and respects the fact that Abbey needs some help with the baby, but when he suggested hiring a nanny instead of getting her mum in, it didn’t go down too well.’
