Prince George is no longer the youngest royal

Zara Phillips and husband Mike Tindall have welcomed a baby girl.

Prince William‘s cousin, 32, gave birth at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with rugby player Mike, 35, by her side, confirms Buckingham Palace.

‘The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike‘s parents, Mr Phillip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news,’ the Queen‘s press secretary tells the BBC.

‘The baby’s name will be confirmed in due course.’

Zara and Mike got engaged in 2010 and married in front of guests including The SaturdaysUna Healy at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland a year later.

The healthy arrival of their first baby comes just six months after William, 31, and Kate Middleton became parents to Prince George.

Zara‘s daughter is now 16th in line for the throne.
