The couple had already guessed sex of their baby

Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and wife Lucy-Jo Hudson have found out they are expecting a baby girl.

Alan, 30 – who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the soap- says finding out has made things ‘more real.’

‘I’ve always wanted a little girl,’ Lucy-Jo, 29, tells Hello. ‘I screamed the house down when I found out.’

Lucy-Jo recently had her 20-week scan, the point where pregnant women can find out if they are expecting a boy or a girl – if they want to.

And she says it was the second time she had ever seen her husband cry, after their wedding day in 2009.

‘It really took a hold of me,’ Alan says. ‘I was like”wow.”‘
