Strictly Come Dancing judge backs singer
The judge stood up for the singer after viewers complained about her debut on the show.
‘I think this backlash is horrendous,’ he says. ‘I don’t think she deserves it.
‘To be able to form a criticism in ten seconds is not an easy thing to do.
‘Alesha has a lot to say, she has been through it and won it.’
A total of 272 complaints were made to the BBC about Alesha, 30, who replaced Arlene Phillips, 65.
‘It makes me really angry that people are having a go at her,’ Craig told BBC Breakfast.
‘Give her a chance for goodness sake, it is just crazy.’
