Dancing On Ice star Vanilla Ice is going home to Florida

Vanilla Ice is out of this year’s Dancing On Ice.

The Ice Ice Baby rapper – aka Robert Matthew Van Winkle – ended up in the skate-off against Laura Hamilton and the judges unanimously saved the TV presenter.

‘Everything here has been just amazing, I appreciate the whole experience,’ Vanilla, 43, told Phillip Schofield, who co-hosted tonight’s show with Coleen Nolan after Holly Willoughby was struck down
with a migraine.

Vanilla danced a sexy Spanish Flamenco with skating partner Katie Stainsby to Justin Timberlake’s Like I Love You and certainly got Emma Bunton all hot and bothered – but it wasn’t enough.

Now he’ll be heading home to the US.

The musician’s kids encouraged him to become a Dancing On Ice contestant and he’s amazed by how much he’s learnt.

‘My two little girls Dusti Rain [12] and Keelee Breeze [10] told me to do it.’ Vanilla told Now.

They really encouraged me because I was embarrassed. I have never skated on ice in my life.

‘We don’t have ice in Florida. When I first put my skates on I was on the rail and fell down 50 times.

‘But after three months of hardcore training, two to four hours every day, I’m now doing flips and lifts and spinning – doing all that stuff.’
