The actress speaks out - just hours ahead of her EastEnders comeback
Danniella Westbrook has furiously denied reports that she performed a sex act on her boyfriend in a chauffeur-driven car.
The actress and toy boy lover George Arnold were apparently travelling along the M25 in a Simpsons car company vehicle when the alleged incident happened, resulting in the driver apparently threatening to boot them out unless they stopped.
It’s claimed by The Sun that the car was being paid for by Channel 5 after Danniella, 42, had appeared on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.
A source says: ‘The Simpsons driver reported Danniella was performing a sex act on her boyfriend in the back of the car.
‘The driver asked her to stop or he was going to pull over and chuck her out once he was off the M25.
‘She stopped her performance but everyone at Simpsons was completely stunned.’
Danniella has denied that the story is true on Twitter, writing in a Tweet that it’s ‘full of lies’.
The actress went on to reTweet several messages from fans showing their support for her. Her agent has also denied the reports.
It all comes just hours ahead of Danniella’s big return to EastEnders tonight as Sam Mitchell.
The blonde star briefly reprised the role for the scenes, which will see her attend on-screen mum Peggy Mitchell’s funeral, but her comeback will only be for a few episodes.
There were reports last month that Danniella had been fired just two weeks after going back to the soap, something that she claimed wasn’t true.
A representative for Danniella told MailOnline: ‘She didn’t get fired she worked her full contract. It’s absolute lies.
‘She was not fired she fulfilled her contract and she was booked for two episodes and that is what she shot.’
Despite all of the controversy, the actress was praised by many telly fans earlier this week when she opened up about her demons on Channel 5 show In Therapy.
Danniella has battled drug addiction in the past and says she suffered abuse as a child, something she discussed honestly on the emotional programme.
