Dannii Minogue has arranged a date with Lewis Hamilton at the Monaco Grand Prix, according to insiders.

Dannii, 36, and Formula One star Lewis, 23, are said to have arranged to hook up for a meal.

The pair first met at the Melbourne Grand Prix earlier this year, where they are believed to have swapped numbers.

The X Factor judge says she’s become a big fan.

‘I really started to follow Lewis in 2006 and I just admired not only his driving but the way he conducted himself,’ she told the audience at the Logies, Australia’s annual TV awards.

‘I followed F1 for a long time and I never had a chance to meet Lewis before.

‘He is an amazing, amazing guy. I look forward to seeing him in Monaco.’

Dannii was previously engaged to F1 ace Jacques Villeneuve, 37.
