The singer chooses models over music mogul Simon Cowell
The Australian star, 41 – who will be returning to our screens as a judge on Britain And Ireland’s Next Top Model instead – was dropped from the show in 2010 when bosses refused to accommodate filming around her Australia’s Got Talent schedule.
‘She was put in a terrible position of being told she would have to do that dreadful 25-hour flight countless times over the next few months if she wanted to do the show,’ an insider said at the time.
‘No attempt was made to move dates for her or to help her out.
‘After a very tense week, she just said, “I’m a mum, how can I keep flying back and forth? I have a baby to care for”.’
A friend of Dannii‘s tells The Sun: ‘She doesn’t want the rows that come with X Factor and working within the Cowell machine.
‘She is definitely not going back to The X Factor and can’t wait to get working on Britain And Ireland’s Next Top Model.’
Britain And Ireland’s Next Top Model will be returning to Sky Living next year.
