Dannii Minogue‘s battled months of speculation about her relationship with boyfriend Kris Smith being on the rocks.

Now the former X Factor judge, 39, is getting it in the ear from her mum-in-law.

Kris‘s mum Elsie Smith is upset that the couple – and her only grandchild, one-year-old Ethan – are thousands of miles away in Australia.

In an exclusive interview for Now, Elsie, 63, from Manchester says: I can’t tell you what’s going on with Dannii: I don’t know.

‘They’re spending more time in Melbourne. The baby is growing up fast and I no longer know who he resembles as they’re so far away.

‘He used to look like Kris when he was born – and now, who knows?

‘They say he’s like Dannii now.’
