While Kellie Bright’s on Strictly Come Dancing, on-screen hubby Danny Dyer is getting protective of her

We’re SO excited about the moves that the celebs are going to pull out of the bag on Strictly Come Dancing – the good and the bad. Although, we don’t think anything will be able to beat THAT crab-tastic dance from Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills last year. Iconic.

But the Strictly judges better think twice before dishing out any mean or harsh comments to Eastenders star Kellie Bright. Her on-screen hubby, Danny Dyer, might give them what-for otherwise.

‘I’m right protective of her, we’ll see how it goes but it’s gonna get right naughty when I’m there.’

Naughty in what way Mr.Dyer?!

We an imagine that the 38-year-old wouldn’t hold back or bite his tongue if a certain Mr. Revel Horwood said some catty remarks about Kellie’s footwork.

‘Hopefully they’ll behave themselves.’

Craig Revel Horwood – better retract your claws in mister.

Danny plays Mick Carter, hubby to Kellie Bright’s character Linda Carter on the BBC soap.

While the words ‘Strictly curse’ are thrown about each year, looming over couples who are involved in the show. But surely said curse isn’t strong enough to break up a fictional couple….right?

But Danny seems pretty A-OK about his on-screen wife getting up close and steamy with another man. A muscly, professional dancer of a man at that.

Speaking at the TV Choice Awards, Danny said: ‘I’m alright with that, she’s only my onscreen wife.’

‘I love her dearly but she has a real husband.’

Very good point there DD.

As for Kellie, it’s going to be pretty hectic with filming and dance rehearsals, but she knows when she knows to slow things down a little: ‘You do have to have a break otherwise you’ll go crazy. But don’t worry – there will be more, of course it’s going to get busier for us.’

Maybe she can get some tips from fellow Eastenders buddy Jake Wood, who snake-hipped his way through the competition last year.
