Makers Unilever create snack as tribute to Becks

David Beckham has had a Pot Noodle named after him.

Makers Unilever have created the Golden (Meat) Balls flavour in the footballer’s honour.

The pots are also labelled Posh Nosh, have been emblazoned with 7 – to represent David‘s England squad number – and carry an image of his angel tattoo.

‘On hearing that David is such a fan, we got straight to work on a flavour just for him,’ says development manager Grahame Walker.

‘He might not be able to cause a stir at the World Cup this year, but we are hoping this new Golden (Meat) Balls flavour addition will raise a few cheers – not least from the man in LA himself.’

Unilever have sent David, 34, a crate of his favourite flavours.
