Becks to celebrate by buying his own team

David Beckham has been recalled to the England team – meaning he could earn a landmark 100th cap.

Manager Fabio Capello is expected to play Becks in tomorrow’s friendly with France at the Stade de France.

David, who was snapped training with his England teammates yesterday in London, says he won’t let the nation down if he does get a chance to start.

‘If I get my 100th cap it will be one of the greatest honours of my career, but I don’t want to stop there,’ he tells the Daily Star.

David, 32, was left off the England team sheet by new manager Fabio, 61, last month for their clash against Switzerland because he was not fit enough.

And the footie hunk is said to be keen to celebrate getting his 100th cap by buying his own team in America’s Major League Soccor when his contract with LA Galaxy runs out in 2011.
