After five years of marriage and one child together, Lara Stone has reportedly moved out of the house she shares with David Walliams
David Walliams is said to be ‘devastated’ after splitting from wife Lara Stone.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 43, has reportedly embarked on a trial separation with model Lara, 31, following five years of marriage. According to reports, Lara left their London home on Tuesday night, taking their son Alfred – who is nearly 2 – along with their dog Bert.
News of the alleged break-up has come as a shock to the couple’s pals, who thought the marriage was strong, and it sounds like David is finding it difficult to deal with too.
‘David has been putting on a brave face,’ a source says. ‘But people close to him are very worried because they know he’s devastated.’
The comedian is apparently keen to win back his wife and hopes they can work through their problems.
‘David hopes it is a blip and that they can get the marriage back on track somehow,’ the insider tells The Sun. ‘Especially seeing as there is a child involved.’
Lara and David were last seen in public together in December when they were spotted watching the London production of Edward Scissorhands. Just two days earlier they’d attended Elton John‘s star-studded wedding.
The couple started dating in 2009 before tying the knot in a lavish ceremony at London’s Claridge’s Hotel in May 2010.
Neither David nor Lara have commented on the alleged split but some of Lara‘s recent Instagram posts suggest she’s had some difficult times recently.
Last week the model posted a picture of a cartoon girl resembling her crying and simply captioned it: ‘#mood’ The following day she shared an image reading ‘cuddle me hardcore’ and wrote: ‘This… (regram @anthonyturnerhair)’
It comes after Lara hit the headlines in January for posing topless in a steamy Calvin Klein underwear campaign with Justin Bieber, where she’s seen clinging on to the 21-year-old singer as well as sitting on top of him.
Their marriage seemed so strong at the time that David even jokingly Tweeted: ‘Why has someone photoshopped @justinbieber’s head onto what is clearly my body?’
