The comedian opens up about his love for Simon
The comedian, 41- whose wife Lara Stone is pregnant with their first child – makes the strange admission as he discusses his hopes for the upcoming series of the popular show.
‘The most important thing is that me and Simon get engaged next series,’ he jokes.
‘Actually the most important thing is we find really talented people.’
Despite his love for Simon, David hopes his new baby will take after model wife Lara and not the music mogul.
‘I’m looking forward to seeing the baby for the first time,’ he tells the Daily Mirror, ‘seeing this little person who’s a mixture of you and the person you really love.
‘But hopefully it will look like Lara and not Simon Cowell.’
