Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been understandably protective of their daughter since she was born last year – but daddy Ashton may have just given his little girl her Instagram debut in the name of a very good cause.

The Two and a Half Men star shared a snap of an adorable tot with his 1.3 million followers on the picture-sharing site earlier today – and users were quick to speculate that the child in the image was his daughter, Wyatt, who wife Mila gave birth to last October.

And, with the shiny head of brown hair and all-round cuteness of the little one in the snap, it’s not hard to see why fans jumped to that conclusion.

Whilst Ashton didn’t confirm the identity of the cutie, he used the post in order to draw attention to a cause close to his heart, adding the caption: ‘39 million people have fallen through the cracks into modern day slavery. #redsandproject

The actor has been working with the Red Sand Project, an activist artwork group that encourages people to fill cracks in the pavement with red sand in order to raise awareness of human trafficking.

His followers were quick to applaud Ashton using his celebrity to shine a spotlight on the cause and comment on just how cute the little one in the picture – whether Wyatt or otherwise – was.

One wrote: ‘Way to go raising awareness! As a parent, this is one of the things that keep me up at night. OT but I recognize that baby dress… It’s from #target.’

Another added: ‘Thanks for using your celebrity status to bring awareness to such a great project, regardless of whose child is in this picture.’

And another commented: ‘Got your message out and clear!! Such a great project… Wyatt looks cute!’
