Businesswoman Katie Price has a growing friendship with Simon Cowell's ex Sinitta

Could Katie Price be on the verge of re-launching her singing career?

The businesswoman got us excited this weekend when she revealed she’d met up with pint-sized former pop star Sinitta.

Even though Simon Cowell‘s ex-girlfriend’s days of storming the charts are long gone, she does regularly do her bit on his show The X Factor. Now it appears she could be passing on her musical knowledge to Katie, who like her has endured a stint in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle.

‘@sinittaofficial good to see you today x‘ she posted via Twitter on Sunday to Sinitta, who will appear on our screens this weekend when X Factor moves to the judges’ houses stage this weekend.

The 45-year-old star joins Simon at his Los Angeles pad as they cut numbers for the over-25s group from six down to three.

Katie’s tweet came following Sinitta’s best wishes after the 36-year-old recently welcomed her fifth child, Bunny.

‘@MissKatiePrice congratulations with baby bunny. Take care xx,‘ she posted.

Sadly though, they weren’t meeting to discuss music – and Sinitta and Katie weren’t the only celebs hanging out together on the Sunday. Helen Flanagan, Joe Swash, Joe Pasquale and Kim Woodburn were with them as they filmed a brand new TV show titled Keep It In The Family and it looks like Sinitta and Katie hit it off.

We’re not ruling a musical comeback though. Who could forget Katie and Peter Andre‘s A Whole New World duet and the fact she serenaded Keiran Hayler at their wedding last year?

We wouldn’t be surprised if Katie ends up in the audience for a few X Factor live episodes with Sinitta, who recently admitted she has been mentoring model Cara Delevingne on her singing career.

Looks like sticking with Simon has taught her a lot!
