Back together!

EastEnders fans were in for a special treat as Tiffany and Grant Mitchell were reunited on screen for the first time in 18 years!

Ross Kemp appeared on Loose Women to promote his new show and Martine McCutcheon sat on the panel, weeks after signing on as a permanent fixture.

The pair had a tumultuous on screen relationship (obviously, it’s EastEnders). But their relationship came to an end when Tiffany was hit by Frank Butcher’s car when she ran out after Grant during the middle of an argument in 1988

Martine said of the star when he appeared on the panel: ‘For me it was some of the best times ever, there was this code between us. We had each other’s back. I was so young I was 18 and still learning.’

But despite them being a beloved pairing on-screen, Ross Kemp suffered because of the bad boy image of Grant.

The 52-year-old said: ‘Truly I remember being asked to present something at The Albert Hall at the time that Tiffany had been allegedly pushed down by the stairs by Grant when actually she had tripped.

‘I was like “Are you sure you want me to give out this award?” I walked onto the Albert Hall and, to a man and woman, [the audience] just went BOO!’

He also said that the pair spent so much time together that they were basically an ‘alternate family’. Their on-screen couple actually had a daughter, Courtney, who recently returned to the soap.
