And Dot Cotton gets her kit off too for Children in Need!
It’s that time of year again when stars flock by the dozen to perform loads of weird and wonderful sketches for BBC’s Children In Need. And my God, are we excited!
In this year’s line up of stunts, we’ve got the EastEnders cast stripping off on Albert Square to shoot an official naked calendar. And it’s better than we could have ever imagined…
Not only have they got a clothes-less June Brown, aka Dot Cotton herself, beaming behind a towel in the famous laundrette, there’s a super-ripped Ben Hardy (Peter Beale) who gets his kipper off – oh we fancy a piece of his pie, oosh! – and a smiley Natalie Cassidy (Sonia Jackson) grinning behind a giant, glittery love heart in the EastEnders‘ caf.
Speaking about the charity project, 31-year-old Natalie said: ‘Everybody who took part in the calendar had a blast, and everyone should have a cheesy EastEnders calendar on their wall for 2015! Go and buy one because it’s brilliant and you’re raising money for a wonderful cause.’
But our fave snap is of the lovely Jacqueline Jossa, who plays Lauren Branning, looking lush as she poses by the Walford East station entrance along with Shona McGarty (Whitney Dean), with only a fluorescent lilo covering their modesty. You’ve sure shown us how it’s done, girls!
Jacqueline Jossa is currently pregnant with TOWIE‘s Dan Osborne. Their first child together is due to be born in early 2015.
Speaking about the EastEnders calendar, producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said: ‘When we developed our calendar storyline featuring so many of Albert Square’s residents as viewers have never seen them before, it seemed such a shame not to share the fun with our audience.
‘It’s been a long time since EastEnders released a calendar – and this is the perfect opportunity for EastEnders fans to get hold of something a little bit special while raising money for such a worthwhile cause.’
Children In Need will air on BBC1 tonight, hosted by Sir Terry Wogan, Nick Grimshaw, Tess Daley, Ferne Cotton and Rochelle Humes.
The show’s sure to be packed with showbiz hilarity and gossip – and we’re definitely going to be tuning in. Someone pass the Pudsey ears!
