What do you think about this?!
We have no qualms in confessing that we are more than a teeny tiny bit jealous of Ariana Grande.
She’s intelligent, talented and impressively sharp with her words. Oh, and we’re assuming she’s probably utterly minted too. Yup, the gal’s got it all!
And so, in Ariana’s true no-nonsense nature, the singer has taken to social media to slam a recent event- in which calls out a fan for treating her as if she were ‘a piece of meat’.
‘Atta gal!
In a thread of Tweets which have since gone viral, Ariana explains how a recent encounter with a fan had left her feeling very uncomfortable.
Ariana shares, ‘went to pick up food with my boyfriend tonight and a young boy followed us to the car to tell Mac [Ariana’s partner] that he’s a big fan’.
She then explained, ‘I thought all of this was cute and exciting until he said ‘Ariana is sexy as hell man I see you, I see you hitting that!!!’. *pause* “Hitting that? The f**k??’.
Ariana continues, ‘This may not seem like a big deal to some of you but I felt sick and objectified. I was also sitting right there when he said it’.

The 23-year-old then added, ‘I’ve felt really quiet and hurt since that moment. Things like happen all the time and are the kind of moments that contribute to women’s sense of fear and inadequacy. I am not a piece of meat’.
Continuing on from her lengthy post, Ariana hit out at some of the criticism she was receiving for her initial statement…
seeing a lot of "but look how you portray yourself in videos and in your music! you're so sexual!" …. please hold.. next tweet… i repeat

expressing sexuality in art is not an invitation for disrespect !!! just like wearing a short skirt is not asking for assault.

Ariana concluded the thread with her final message for fans, which reads ‘Women’s choice. our bodies, our clothing, our music, our personalities….. sexy, flirty, fun. it is not. an open. invitation’.
Women's choice. ♡ our bodies, our clothing, our music, our personalities….. sexy, flirty, fun.
it is not. an open. invitation.— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) December 28, 2016
You are literally saying that if we look a certain way, we are yours to take. But we are not !!! It's our right to express ourselves. ♡
