After years of facing bullies and trolls over her nose, the TOWIE star has gone under the knife...

‘It will always be my insecurity,’ Ferne McCann recently said of her nose, hinting that were she ever to go under the knife for surgery, that would be the first thing she would have done.

But now she’s bitten the bullet and done just that-  and is moments away from showing off her new face.

Joining hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on the This Morning sofa Ferne is due to show off her new look and discuss the journey she has been on throughout her life, and why she decided to make the change.

In a very open and honest account, Ferne will reveal how a lifelong insecurity and bouts of online trolling lead to her final decision. Speaking out ahead of the surgery, Ferne discusses the negative messages she has received in the past. ‘My nose is my insecurity and it’s the easiest thing for them to say… It hurts.’

Explaining her reasons for having the operation, Ferne admits: ‘I’m not getting it done because I want to get closer to being beautiful. It’s not about that. It’s just something that I don’t like, and every day I look in the mirror, it knocks my confidence.’

Despite being one of the few TOWIE stars not to have gone under the knife, Ferne has confesses she is still nervous about how people are going to react to her now look.

Ferne said, ‘There’ll be a lot of people that understand why I’m doing it and a lot of people that won’t.’ Before adding, ‘I don’t want to upset my mum and that’s what makes me really emotional… but she really understands now.’

Ferne teased her fans about her new look on Instagram and since having the surgery seems to be in high spirits…

Every day can end beautifully☀️. ______________________ A thought for those having a tough morning. Sunset at @scorpiosmyk literally gave me life.
