EXCLUSIVE Lauren Pope opens up about split from TOWIE co-star Lewis Bloor
In her most candid interview yet, the TV beauty told Now: ‘I’m not taking any nonsense from a silly little boy.’
Branding him ‘immature’, Lauren, 32, laid into her co-star who she had been dating for a few months and said he cheated on her. But she insists she’s now ready to move on.
She said: ‘I need a man, not a boy. His excuse was that I work too much. So I need a man who is accepting of the fact I am very career driven.’
The pair ended their romance during their recent trip to Ibiza with the TOWIE cast after heated rows.
There is certainly no love lost between the pair, as Lauren, said: ‘The way he spoke to me was beyond disrespectful. Even after finding out that he cheated, the way he spoke to me was beyond disgusting and I’m not even going to hold my breath talking to him again. He is very rude, but that’s immaturity for you.
‘I think he is trying to play a character – but he’s failing miserably. I think he is trying to be the cool player. But it’s not working for him and he’s ended up out on his a*** with no-one.’
Lauren lifted the lid on what went wrong. She revealed: ‘He and I were never going to get married. We both just got caught up in it. Before we went to Ibiza I said to him ‘this relationship isn’t working’, but he is the one who said he wanted to have the conversation on camera. He wanted to wait until we got to Ibiza, knowing full well that the girl he has cheated with is coming on the show.’
The full extent of their fall-out will be shown on the next series of TOWIE, which starts tonight on ITVBe.
Lewis’ spokesman told Now: ‘There are two sides to every story. Lewis will put his side across in due time.’
