Vicky Pattison opens up for the first time about her abusive relationship with Ricci Guarnaccio
It doesn’t take long. Just a few minutes into our chat with Vicky Pattison, she starts crying. The trigger for her teary outburst? Remembering the ring that ex-boyfriend Ricci Guarnaccio proposed to her with.
Since splitting with her fellow Geordie Shore star, Vicky – whose autobiography Nothing But The Truth is out this week – has been through what she describes as ‘six months of terror’.
After her turbulent engagement to Ricci, 27, depression left Vicky scared to leave the house and she even considered ending her life.
The 26-year-old, who split with Ricci last year, faced him again on the MTV show Ex On The Beach.
‘I think he’s a vindictive, evil and manipulative man,’ she tells us. ‘He played a very good game on Ex On The Beach.
‘The reasons I was so angry with him weren’t explained in the show – they were cut out because they were deemed too controversial.
‘It was just a very unhealthy relationship and he really wasn’t a nice person. I wasn’t happy in that relationship and that’s all I can say about it.‘
Nothing But The Truth: My Story by Vicky Pattison is out on 14 August (£14.99, Sphere)
