Singer is charged with being 'unfit to drive'
George Michael, 43, has been charged with being ‘unfit to drive’ and will appear in court in London on 11 January
Last October the singer was found slumped over the wheel of his car at traffic lights in Cricklewood and arrested and cautioned.
George, who admits regularly smoking cannabis, lives a mile away from the location of the incident in the £12 million home he shares with partner Kenny Goss, 48.
A Scotland Yard spokesman says: ‘We can confirm that George Panayiotou was charged on 21 December with driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.’
