Singer released on bail after arrest for two driving offences
The former Girls Aloud star was allegedly spotted on her mobile phone whilst driving down London’s Charing Cross Road and allegedly refused to pull over when a police cyclist tried to flag her down.
She was questioned at Holborn Police Station and released on bail after being charged.
Sarah, who is planning to launch a solo career following Girls Aloud’s split last month, Tweeted about being misunderstood.
If the cover track I’m about to record in my studio tonight didnt relate to most of humanity I probably wouldn’t bother.Hope u get 2 hear it,’ Sarah, 31, told her followers.
I want to inspire… want to raise eyebrows…and hopefully, eventually, be understood….

Sarah is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 16 April.
