The most private of celeb couples have done a love U-turn

We’ve been so used to seeing Gwyneth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martin ducking out of restaurants separately to avoid being papped, the recent happy, relaxed images of them at the Golden Globes left us scratching our heads.

The couple, who are parents to Apple, nine, and Moses, seven, were also caught laughing and joking as they tenderly gazed into each others’ eyes at Sean Penn‘s Help Haiti Home Benefit Gala in Beverly Hills.

So what’s behind their sudden change of policy on PDAs?

It could be that their recent 10th wedding anniversary has left them feeling loved-up.

But it’s been noted that this show of unity comes after Gwyneth‘s public fallout with Vanity Fair.

The 41-year-old allegedly tried to stop the US publication from running a negative article on her that, according to speculation at the time, contained unfounded rumours of affairs.

Gwynnie and Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter have since resolved their differences, but the feud may have prompted the actress, who was named Most Hated Celebrity In Hollywood’ last year, to change her public image.

Cue Chris, 36, and her soppy PDA-athon?
