Bradley's keen to get behind the camera

Bradley Cooper has revealed that he wants to switch from acting to directing movies.

The Hangover star, who received his first Oscar nomination this year for his role in Silver Linings Playbook, plans to give being a director a try after he’s starred in a few more films.

If I had my way I’d primarily just be directing movies,’ says Bradley, 38.

I really love the film-making process, so after the next couple I’m going to have to direct one.’

Bradley’s already got some experience behind the camera lined up – his production company will be making upcoming movie American Sniper, which Bradley will also star in.

And he’ll be able to get directing tips from the best in the business along the way – the movie is set to be directed by Steven Spielberg.

My production company acquired the book,’ the actor tells The Ticket.

Steven read a first draft of the script and wanted to make it with us.’
