With Will's working away, Harry helped get Kate baby-ready
Now‘s learnt that Harry even packed her hospital bag and made her an iPod playlist to help her through the labour.
‘Harry got Kate‘s things together for the hospital, adding her favourite snacks, including Haribo sweets,’ says our source.
‘A friend of his with children told him sometimes in the early stages of labour it’s good to eat sweet things – and he knew it’d amuse Kate.’
Harry‘s iPod playlist includes Kate‘s faves Bruno Mars and Of Monsters and Men.
‘He threw in some aromatherapy lavender oil and a burner as well,’ says the source.
Um, Hazza, can you be our stand-in brother- in-law, please?
Not only has the young party-loving prince gone to all this effort for his sister-in-law, he’s also been helping Kate add the finishing touches to the baby’s room at Nottingham Cottage, the Cambridges‘ temporary two-bedroom home in the grounds of Kensington Palace while renovations are carried out at their neighbouring 21-room Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace itself.
The couple are expected to spend most of their time at Kate‘s parents’ home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, but the source says Harry still wanted to step in and help Kate‘ make Nott Cott nice as well.
Harry, we salute (and love) you.
Mad about Harry too
It’s not just Kate who adores Hazza.
Our royal source says: ‘Mike and Zara have discussed asking Harry – and he’s also likely to be godfather to Baby Cambridge.’
Zara and Mike got engaged a month after Kate and Wills – and married three months after the Royal Wedding.
Maybe they’ll try to get in first with the second bambino?
