The One Direction lads enjoy a night off from their Take Me Home tour

The One Direction boys rocked out to a Rolling Stones concert last night.

Harry Styles and Niall Horan told their Twitter followers they’d gone to the group’s gig in Washington DC, where 1D had played themselves the night before.

Niall, 19, posted a photo of himself hanging out with legendary guitarist Ronnie Wood afterwards.

‘unbelievable experience tonight…massive thanks to @sallywood
@ronniewood and @therollingstones a great gig..and for being so nice
tonight,’
Tweeted Niall.

Harry, 19, simply wrote: ‘The Rolling Stones.’

Irish star Niall has previously described himself as an ‘old rocker’ while Harry has been spotted wearing Rolling Stones T-shirts more than once.

The lads first met Ronnie, 66, at a men’s magazine bash in 2011 and the musician said last year that he’d been giving them advice on how to handle fame.

‘I’ve taken them under my wing,’ Ronnie told the Daily Mirror.

‘I’m so pleased for them getting that No 1 in America.’
