Heroes star doesn't mind that her Italian body art isn't quite right
Hayden Panettiere has spoken out about the misspelt tattoo in Italian she has inked down her back.
The Heroes actress’s tat, which was completed 2 years ago, should say ‘Vivere senza rimpianti’ which means ‘Live without regrets’ – but instead she’s accidentally had an an extra ‘i’ added, so rimpianti is spelt rimipianti.
‘Here’s the thing – if you’re going to get a tattoo in a language, just don’t ever go to that country, or a country where anyone speaks that language,’ Hayden, 21, told US talk show The View.
‘You know what, I’m left to live up to what it means. I’m proud of it.’
But Megan Fox, 24, appears to have changed her mind about the Marilyn Monroe tattoo on her right arm.
The iconic image of the Hollywood legend has faded considerably and the actress is believed to be having laser removal treatment.
‘I really admire Marilyn Monroe, but I would never try to emulate her. I got the tattoo as a warning,’ Megan said in 2009.
‘It warns me not to let myself be treated so badly by the film industry so that it breaks me down.’
