Parents Kim and Sally fly back to Brisbane
Heath Ledger’s family have arrived back in Australia for his private funeral.
The actor’s parents Kim and Sally and sister Kate made their way through Brisbane airport looking tired and emotional after an overnight flight.
Their return comes 2 weeks after Heath, 28, was found dead at his Manhattan apartment.
A memorial service was held in LA on Saturday and his family were joined by dozens of celebs – including ex-fiancée Michelle Williams, Naomi Watts, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes – who paid their respects.
Heath is expected to be buried in a family plot with 2 of his grandparents at Perth’s Karrakatta Cemetery later this afternoon.
His death remains inconclusive. Authorities are awaiting the results of a toxicology report which is expected to be announced within 48 hours.
