The Hills star wants to separate work from any relationship
Not much would surprise us about Speidi, but Heidi Montag sacking her husband as her publicist, then hiring and firing a psychic in the same week is something we couldn’t have seen in the stars.
When Heidi, 23, took on Aiden Chase after ditching hubby Spencer Pratt last week, she declared: ‘Never mix business with pleasure – we’re no longer Speidi but Heidi and Spencer. Having an intuitive psychic leading my team gives me an edge no one else has.’
But within a few days she’d changed her mind, saying: ‘I’ve decided to part ways with Mr Chase both as a manager and as a psychic and will scrutinise my business decisions more carefully in the future. I will now be managing my own career as a strong and independent woman.’
A friend tells Now that Heidi originally decided to fire Spencer, 26, after constant fights.
‘She still loves him and takes her marriage vows very seriously, but things have been really bad between them. Spencer‘svery stubborn and he took it personally when she disagreed with his decisions.
‘He’d say: “You should listen to me – I’m your manager.” What he meant was: “You should listen to me – I’m your husband.”
‘He’d throw a fit when she tried to stand up for herself. It got to the point where she felt she had to separate her working life from her relationship.’
So Heidi decided to hire Aiden for ‘healing work, energy clearing and helping to put their future plans on the map’.
Heidi said: ‘Unfortunately recent behaviour by Mr Chase on the set of both Just Go With It and The Hills have made me question this decision.’
She refused to elaborate, but Aiden has strongly denied rumours that he crashed the set and tried to poach Audrina Patridge as a client.
