The X Factor judge Simon Cowell moved by Megan Kershaw's plight

Simon Cowell is paying for a teenage cancer sufferer to go to Disney World.

The X Factor judge has been so moved by Megan Kershaw‘s plight that he’s decided to help fulfil one of the requests she had on her ‘wish list’.

She will fly out to Disney World in Florida next month for her 13th birthday.

Megan is a very brave girl,’ says Simon, 50. ‘I’m glad I could help.’

Megan, of Bawtry, South Yorks, was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer in 2008 and spent much of last year in Sheffield Children’s Hospital having chemotherapy

As part of her wish list she has already met Girls Aloud, visited No 10 Downing Street and the set of Emmerdale, ridden in a limo and stayed at the Hilton.

‘This is wonderful,’ mum Deborah tells the Daily Mirror.

Megan is really excited, she can’t wait, she is counting down the days. It’s lovely to see.

‘People have been so generous raising money and now Simon Cowell has been so generous too.
