Nadja Benaissa found guilty for giving ex-lover HIV

Beautiful German popstar Nadja Benaissa has been found guilty of causing bodily harm to one man and attempted bodily harm to two others after she slept with them knowing she was HIV positive.

One of the 28-year-old’s ex-lovers contracted the virus that causes Aids.

Nadja denied she had deliberately infected anyone but pleaded guilty to having unprotected sex and keeping the disease a secret.

‘I am sorry from the bottom of my heart,’ she said. ‘I would love to turn back the clock, but I can’t.’

The singer was spared jail because she confessed to her irresponsible
behaviour and the court in Darmstadt felt she had shown remorse – she was instead
given a two-year suspended prison sentence and 300 hours community
service.

Nadja shot to fame after winning the TV programme Popstars in 2000 and joining No Angels in 2000 – they most successful German girl band to date.

She told the court she was a crack cocaine addict at 14 and discovered she had contracted the disease during a routine check-up when she became pregnant at 16.
