From rock chick waves to quirky colours, Fearne is always changing her 'do...

For style icon Fearne Cotton, hair is very important.

The presenter has changed her ‘do several times over the years and has sported lots of gorgeous looks.

Our gallery charts Fearne’s many cuts and colours since she first appeared on our TV screens as a youngster.

With a short fringe and bold streaks in her hair, Fearne Cotton is full of teenage enthusiasm in our first picture taken during her time as a presenter on children’s show Diggit.

By 1999 the blonde star has grown her locks but goes shorter again as she becomes more well-known in the 2000s.

Fearne soon starts to experiment with bright colours, quirky accessories and playful waves.

As her career goes from strength to strength, Fearne works some very glamorous styles at red carpet events.

In 2009 the presenter lands her own solo show on Radio 1 and changes her colour from blonde to brunette just a few months later.

Best known for her fair hair, Fearne Cotton returns to her usual shade in 2011 and wows with a pretty platinum bob.

By late 2011 the DJ has met future husband Jesse Wood and sports a suitably romantic pink hue during an evening out.

Falling pregnant in 2012 doesn’t stop Fearne from trying out different hairdos. The host flaunts her mum-to-be glow with a chic up-do at a launch event.

She gives birth to son Rex in February 2013 and steps out again a few months later looking as glam as ever, opting to wear her tresses swept elegantly over her shoulder.

Fearne experiments with cute hats, wavy locks and daring colours during the months that follow.

The presenter certainly knows how to grab our attention. In February 2014 she channels an old school Hollywood starlet with a striking curly bob.

Luckily for Fearne she looks equally gorgeous when she’s rocking more casual styles while out and about running errands.
