As the Scots DJ sizzles as the new face of Emporio Armani, we ask how did Calvin Harris get so hot?
He’s come a long way since his days as the geeky DJ on Dizzee Rascal’s Dance Wiv Me video.
But fast forward eight years and this could be the most amazing mansformation of all time – Calvin Harris is sizzling as the new face of Emporio Armani.
Gone is the bowl haircut and slightly Dumb and Dumber look, the psychedelic clothes and the goofy poses from the fledging DJ back when he launched onto the scene back in 2007.
In its place is an incredibly buff bod that’s left the Now office, and the world no doubt, swooning.
Calvin, 30, has ditched the dark locks and puppy fat, for a clean, chiseled look with honey-kissed hair and a soft goatee beard that is starting to give David Beckham and Ryan Gosling a run for their money for the phwoar factor.
It appears his good looks have grown along with his bank balance. Calvin, the world’s highest earning DJ, who earned £30million this year, oozed sex appeal as he unveiled his sculpted six-pack during an Emporio Armani photoshoot.
He owes his good looks to his LA lifestyle where he’s been living since 2012. His daily routine now involves eggs for breakfast, usually an egg-white omelette with smoked salmon and spinach, and he goes to the gym before hitting the studio.
No doubt his chart success has afforded him a decent barber, probably a platinum gym membership and the all-round aura of a powerful man who leaves people weak at the knees when they catch a glimpse of him.
Talking of auras, Calvin has been dating some of the hottest women in pop since upping his game including Rita Ora.
That ended (badly) and Calvin has since moved on to stunning model Aarika Wolf who he’s been dating since the autumn. And judging from his fine form on his photoshoot, she’ll have no complaints.
Calvin has also learned to love his height. In the past the lofty chart-topper has admitted to being bullied at school for being different.
He said: ‘It was hard being the tallest person in class. Especially when you are a teenager. You want to keep your head down. I did anyway. When you are a spotty awkward teenager, you don’t want people to look at you. It’s a self-conscious thing. Everyone looks at you because you are extra gangly. It’s only in the last five years that I have come to terms with the fact that I am a big tall b******.’
Look who’s laughing now…
