Downton star says he will take Hollywood role only if Downton schedule allows

Downton Abbey‘s Hugh Bonneville is still not sure if he’ll be able to take up the offer of a part in George Clooney’s new movie.

The actor, 49, who stars as Lord Grantham in Downton and also played a tramp in Christmas drama Mr Stink with Pudsey as his dog, has been offered a role in The Monuments Men

‘Hopefully, if schedules allow, I’ll be able to do it,’ says Hugh.

‘It’s set in World War II, so it’ll be really exciting.

‘I’ll hopefully be filming a movie with Gemma Arterton too. But Downton takes priority, as Carson would say…’
