Celebrities share their thoughts on the shock news that Louis Tomlinson is going to be a dad
The Louis Tomlinson baby bombshell is still getting A LOT of reaction on social media and several celebrities have been in on it too.
In case you haven’t heard, it’s been revealed that the One Direction star, 23, is expecting his first child with Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth, who he was spotted out with on numerous occasions in May.
While the pair aren’t believed to be in a relationship, Louis is said to be keen to be a part of his child’s life as a ‘hands-on dad’.
We’re all still reeling a bit from the unexpected news but the ever-reliable David Walliams was on great form when he heard about it and gave an amusing response on Twitter.
Oh David, you do make us LOL with your baby reactions. Remember when Simon Cowell’s similarly unexpected daddy news dropped back in 2013?
For that particular bombshell the comedian amusingly Tweeted: ‘For the record @SimonCowell and I tried to have a baby together for many years. But I just couldn’t get pregnant.
‘Oh yeah, and @SimonCowell is doing a baby with a lady.’
Blogger Perez Hilton also issued a cheeky response to Louis’ news by replying back to an April Fool’s Day Tweet the Yorkshire-born singer posted three years ago…
Other stars have posted heartfelt messages congratulating Louis on his impending fatherhood.
The X Factor star Stevi Ritchie – who recently shared some big news himself, having announced his engagement to Chloe-Jasmine Whichello over the weekend – sent a sweet Tweet to Louis.
And should Louis ever decide to bring his little one on tour with 1D they’ll be some starry babysitters on hand.
Music duo Icona Pop, best known for their tune I Love It, are supporting the group during the current American leg of their On The Road Again tour and have offered to help out with childcare if needed.
‘Oh my God, congrats to him,’ band member Caroline Hjelt tells Billboard. ‘We are happy for him if he’s happy. We are very good nannies. We love babies.
‘We will be the nannies on tour. Best wishes for him.’
You hear that, Louis? A pretty generous offer we’d say!
