Rapper on trial accused of assaulting fans after gigs
Aggro Santos has gone on trial, charged with raping 2 female fans.
The 23-year-old rapper, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010, is accused of raping the women in 2 separate incidents, in September 2010 in Yeovil and May 2011 in Chichester.
Chichester crown court heard how the first woman had consensual sex with the star’s manager after she and a friend went to the Yeovil Court Hotel in Somerset following a gig.
The woman then rejected Aggro’s advances and alleges that he raped her in front of her friend and his manager.
‘I just went crazy and managed to get him off me and wanted to get out of the room,’ the alleged victim told the court.
‘He got in front of me, I said he was sick. He kept repeating, “I have been blessed, I have been blessed by Jesus.”
‘At that point I was really scared, I realised how powerful he was.’
The woman didn’t immediately report the incident and only came forward when she heard that Aggro from Tooting, London, whose real name is Yuri Santos, had been charged with raping another girl.
In the second incident, which allegedly took place at the Ship Hotel in Chichester, Aggro and his cousin Tyrelle Ritchie are accused of attacking a 16-year-old after they invited the girl and her sister back to their hotel.
The girls had consensual sex with the 2 men but the alleged victim says that Aggro then forced her to do it again whilst also performing oral sex on Tyrelle, 21.
Former I’m A Celeb contestant Aggro denies the charges.
