Lucy Mecklenburgh and Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby both have killer bodies - we reveal some of their fitness tips
Charlotte overhauled her body in recent months, dropping from a size 16 to 6 by January and released the biggest-selling fitness DVD of all time – Charlotte Crosby’s 3-Minute Belly Blitz. She told Now just two weeks ago that she follows her regime religiously. We can tell!
‘I go to the gym four or five times a week and do all six sections of the DVD in an hour,’ says Charlotte, who recently returned from a three-week-long promo trip in Australia, told us. ‘It was really hard because there were a lot of nights out and on the plane you get what food you’re given – which isn’t always the healthiest! I allow myself the odd cheat day, but since I got back I’ve been really healthy.
‘You do have slip-ups. As long as you get straight back to it the next day, it’s fine.’
Meanwhile, since leaving TOWIE in 2013, Lucy built her exercise empire, Results With Lucy, – and the success has been nothing short of sensational. You can see why. Following the regime she created with trainer Cecilia Harris, the 23-year-old posted this sexy black and white picture to her 700,000 Instagram followers and she looks UH-mazing.
Fitness fanatic Lucy says she loves working out so much, she couldn’t imagine not doing it. ‘I would be really unhappy,’ she says.
‘I’ve had breaks of about a week where I’ve done nothing and I just don’t feel good about myself. I’m happy at a size eight now.’
Lucy trains six days a week and follows a high protein, low sugar diet. ‘After training in the morning, within half an hour I have a green juice,’ she says.
‘Breakfast is usually scrambled egg and turkey or spinach. Lunch is normally a salmon and avocado salad and for dinner I’ll have a chicken stir-fry. I don’t buy the sauce though – I make the sauce myself with soy and season it. Those lovely sweet chilli sauces are full of calories!’
