Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne’s wedding sounds very exciting…
Former TOWIE star Dan, 23, proposed to his Eastenders actress girlfriend Jac on June 15 in Greece, where the couple had been holidaying with their baby daughter Ella. Dan, who got down on one knee in front of 40 family and friends revealed: ‘I knew I would marry Jacqueline after a week of knowing her.’
Now though, it’s full steam ahead for the pair who will no doubt be super busy organising their upcoming wedding, which they hope will take place next summer. Here are the crucial need-to-know facts about Dan and 22-year-old Jac’s big day…prepare to get excited!
As the pair aren’t religious, Jacqueline has admitted that they won’t be tying the knot in a church.
‘We’d like to get married in a castle. I love the idea of having somewhere really big so that we can both stay the night before but not run into eachother,’ said Jac.
The pair have also revealed that they won’t be getting married abroad as it can ‘be expensive for people’.
Dan added: ‘We want as many of our friends and family there as possible’.
Undoubtedly one of THE most important decisions Jacqueline will make. Speaking to OK magazine, the TV star revealed: ‘Nothing too big or sparkly. I like the idea of a lace dress that’s fitted at the top with an A-line skirt,’ adding: ‘Daniel only found out a few days ago that he doesn’t actually get to see the dress until the wedding day!’
Ever the charmer, Dan has gushed about Jac saying that ‘she’ll make a beautiful bride in anything she wears.’
Well, we couldn’t agree more!
The wedding party.
Oh another tough decision! Ms Jossa admitted that she was still unsure who she’s going to ask but reckons she’ll have ‘five bridesmaids and three flower girls.’
She added: ‘My sister is going to be my maid of honour, then I’ll have my best friend Laura and probably a few of my cousins who are a similar age to me.’
As for Dan, he’s pretty much decided on his wedding posse.
‘My dad is my best man and my three brothers are going to be ushers. My poor dad is terrified of having to do a speech – but he didn’t even do one at his own wedding,’ said Dan.
Teddy and Ella’s role.
Dan has revealed that he wants his son one-and-a-half-year-old son Teddy to be the ring bearer, adding that the couple’s baby daughter Ella will ‘definitely be a flower girl’.
The question on everybody’s lips is sure to be whether any of the TOWIE or Eastenders cast will be invited.
Whilst Dan wants the wedding ceremony to be as ‘small as possible’, he’s said that his Essex co-stars James Lock and Mario Falcone will be invited to the evening reception as well as Lydia Bright and James Argent.
Jac has revealed that she’ll ‘definitely’ be inviting some of her Eastenders crew!
The first dance.
I’d like to have Unchained Melody but I don’t think Daniel is keen on that idea,’ admitted Jacqueline, adding: ‘I fancy doing something that will totally surprise people. Perhaps we’ll burst into a dance routine at some point.’
The name change.
Will Jacqueline Jossa become Jacqueline Osborne?
‘I want to be an Osborne but I’m worried that if I change my name professionally people might not realise it’s me,’ said the new mum who added that double barreling it might be a bit ‘cringe-worthy’.
The hen and the stag do.
So how will the pair be celebrating their final unmarried days?
Jacqueline revealed: ‘I like the idea of going to Dubai. I want to be fully in control of the whole thing – I don’t want anyone else planning it for me.’
Dan is more keen on a stag do in Las Vegas adding: ‘We’ve been talking about going to the same resort but going out in different places for our hen and stag dos.’
‘We’d love to go somewhere exotic like the Maldives,’ said Dan although he admitted that sitting on a beach for two weeks could get boring.
‘I think it would be fun to go on a cruise,’ confessed Jac, adding: ‘I imagine we’ll leave Ella with my mum while we go away, so I don’t want to be away for too long.’
This wedding looks set to be BIG and we can’t wait!
