Post-baby Jennifer Ellison tells Now how she dropped four dress sizes the healthy way
Having a baby should be the happiest time for a new mum.
But after she gave birth to her second son Harry six months ago, Jennifer Ellison, 30, found herself having to defend her weight to internet trolls who’d taunted her about her size 16-18 pregnancy figure.
At the time, Jen Tweeted: To all the horrible ppl commenting about my weight… I gave birth 12 WEEKS AGO! Sort ur heads out my baby boy is my priority NOT my size! When I’m back to a size 8 with two amazing kids you’ll still be sat in yr computer chair bitter and twisted #sosad.’
Something tells us the cruel online bullies will be eating their words right now because yummy mummy Jen – who also has a three-year-old son Bobby with hubby Robbie Tickle, 29 – has lost 2½st in three months with the Cambridge Weight Plan!
‘I just thought: “I’m going to do this!” and threw myself into it,’ she tells us..
‘I thought: “It’s only going to be for a few weeks.”
‘Plus, once I actually saw the results of the first and second weeks, it was easy to keep going.
‘I’m not a naturally big person [she’s 5ft 6in], so when I’m overweight I don’t carry it well.
‘I wanted to be fitter, healthier and feel good about myself. Not for anyone else.’
Back to a size 10, Jen feels so much sexier and is enjoying looking hot.
‘My sister Jemma bought me an absolutely gorgeous size 10 All Saints leather jacket for Christmas. It’s fab,’ she confides.
‘And my mum bought me some gorgeous Jimmy Choo boots.
‘I feel good about myself again.
‘I don’t feel frumpy and I feel like me.
‘I’m able to put my underwear on, look in the mirror and look good in it.’
