His details were copied at petrol station

Jeremy Clarkson has been the target of a £35k con.

The Top Gear host, 47, reveals his credit card was copied when he filled up his motor at a petrol station.

He only found out that thieves had been on a spending spree with a duplicate of his card when he received his monthly statement in the post.

‘Somebody did that whole credit card thing where they sell it on to somebody,’ Jeremy tells the Daily Star.

‘It’s the most expensive petrol I’ve ever bought – I filled my car up for £35,000. Now somebody’s running around California spending my money on stuff.’
