The Voice coach is being pushed to the edge by cruel online taunts
Jessie J‘s been pushed to the brink after being branded ‘irritating’ and a ‘strop star’ by bullies.
The singer was forced to hit back last week as hundreds of trolls took to Twitter to abuse her.
In a heartfelt plea, The Voice coach Tweeted: ‘Do you (the person reading this) think if you was on TV that every person watching you would like you?…
‘Why go out of your way to Tweet me about how you feel about me if it’s mean?’
Upset, she added: ‘Treat people how you want to be treated.’
Jessie, 25, has been the butt of cruel taunts since The Voice returned last month.
After the first show she responded to the criticism by Tweeting: ‘When you go to bitch about someone you’ve never met… Think for a second.’
Her latest outburst came after the 13 April episode, when viewers saw her get upset that so few girls wanted to work with her.
Psychologist Beverley Stone tells Now: ‘If Jessie doesn’t have conscious techniques of how to handle negative feedback, she could slip into habits of telling herself she’s awful.
‘This could lead to her becoming depressed or anxious.’
Although Jessie later deleted her Tweet, fans offered their support, Tweeting to tell her she’s ‘perfect’ and ‘inspirational’.
But Jessie‘s admitted: ‘I’m gutted.
‘I feel people don’t believe in me this year.’
