The other girls couldn’t stop laughing…
Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson has proved once again why she’s just like the rest of us.
While on tour in the US with Ariana Grande, the girls have also been in full promo mode for their new album Glory Days.
During an acoustic performance of single Touch Jesy, 25, was giving her usual flawless vocals – but couldn’t quite reach one of the high notes.
It’s understandable that Jesy, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards’ voices might be a little tired given the amount of performances they’ve clocked up since being Stateside.
And, in her usual humour, Jesy made it clear it wasn’t the end of the world. ‘Oh, f*ck off!’ She muttered, sending Jade and Leigh into fits of giggles.
Jesy later shared a clip of the moment on Instagram, adding: ‘When it just ain’t happening!’
But the fans weren’t bothered by the slip up. One wrote: ‘That’s the reason why I love you!’
Another said: ‘It happens to everybody! Your voice is so beautiful, even when some notes are like, “No, not today mofo.’ Loved this!’
This isn’t the first time one of the girls has had an onstage mishap. In 2015, shortly after her split from Zayn Malik, Perrie, 23, broke down in tears during a performance of their track The End.
Heartbreakingly, it was the lyric ‘No one can love you, the way I used to’ that got Perrie choked up. But, as usual, the girls were there for her and rallied around, before Jesy told the crowd: ‘It’s been a long day.’
It’s official: Little Mix are the most normal pop superstars ever!
