X Factor host Dermot O'Leary also sends love to singer Lily Allen

Justin Bieber has joined the list of stars to offer support to Lily Allen after she lost the baby she was expecting over the weekend.

The teen singer, 16, took to Twitter to express his sadness.

‘My prayers go out to lily allen and her family
,’ Justin Tweets

Dermot O’Leary, 37, has also offered his condolences.

‘Sending big love to poor Lilly,’ he writes.

Yesterday bouquets from those thinking of Lily were delivered to her north London home.

She was admitted to hospital on Thursday after complaining of stomach pain, but – after days of trying – doctors were unable to save her unborn child.

Lily was 6 months pregnant with boyfriend Sam Cooper‘s baby, so her sad loss is not medically termed a miscarriage, which occurs before the 24th week of pregnancy.

In January 2008, she had a miscarriage while carrying Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons‘ child and had counselling to help her deal with her grief.

Lily, 25, has been dating Sam since July 2009.
